Post-Season Awards

A huge congratulations to our own Eagles who earned post-season honors from the North Atlantic Region of the NCBA earlier today.  Junior OF Jeff Elliot and Sophomore P Nick Assad were selected First Team, while Sophomore OF Daniel Lu earned Second Team honors.  The Eagles plan to use these returning studs to ignite the team on both sides of the ball next year as we begin another run at Paducah, Kentucky and the NCBA World Series.  To see all of the selections, as well as the season stats for those selected, follow the link below:

Looking Ahead

The Eagles capped off a great season with a 16-8 record overall.  Unfortunately, we lost to #1 ranked Pitt 4-0 and #5 ranked Delaware 4-3 in close battles at Regional Tournament in State College, PA.  We are looking forward to the fall season, and will hopefully be back to redeem ourselves at the Regional Tournament next year.  Thank you to the seniors for all of their efforts, and for making this club what it is today.

Whip Out The Brooms

The Eagles swept UCONN this weekend and are now 11-2 in conference play. We will wrapping up the regular season on May 8th when we take on UMASS. Our sights are set on winning the conference and advancing to regionals the following weekend.

Eagles Soar Over The Huskies

The Eagles won the series against Northeastern 2-1 taking games one and two 4-1 and 9-2, respectively.  Unfortunately the club dropped the third game after a hard fought battle 4-3.  We will be taking on Boston University in a three game series next weekend as we continue our journey to win the conference.

Spring Break Recap

The Eagles went 4-0 in Florida over the past week during spring break! With victories over Ferris State 12-2, Central Michigan 7-1, Northern Illinois 14-6 and VCU 13-3 the Eagles outscored their opponents by an impressive 34 runs throughout the week.  The team is looking forward to carrying this success in Florida to the regular season starting in April.
