Your Boston College Eagles scored four runs in the eighth to cap a 12-3 win over Harvard on Sunday.
The Eagles scored in the eighth on a two-run single by John McQuillen, an RBI single by Robby Walsh, and an RBI single by Tyler Lockard.
Alex Gulati racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Eagles. He singled in the sixth and eighth innings and homered in the ninth inning.
Nick Assad shut down Harvard while he was on the mound. Assad held Harvard hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Six relief pitchers made sure the win didn’t fall through the cracks for the Eagles . Michael Stark faced five batters in relief, while Kristian Singhmanaged to record six outs to aid the victory.
The game’s last lead went to the Eagles thanks to a fourth inning rally that saw one run cross the plate on an RBI single by Brett Layman.
