The Eagles dropped the series against Drexel University today. In game one the Eagles found themselves down 8-2 in going into the final inning. The eagles took advantage of Drexel’s bullpen and scored 5 runs to make it 8-7, but the comeback was ultimately stopped by the Dragons’ bullpen. In game two, the Eagles were able to keep the score close for most of the game, but some late Drexel runs put the game out of reach, and the Eagles fell 5-2. The Eagles look to bounce back in a double header against Sacred Heart next week.
