After a much-anticipated start to the new season. The opening double-header between the Eagles and Northeastern was cut short by the sprinkler system flooding the infield at Jim Rice Field. Northeastern led 7-1 after 5 innings in-game one, when the sprinklers popped up and halted play. After a long delay, the field was deemed unplayable. The Eags look to bounce back next weekend when they travel to Sacred Heart University.
